Meet some of the faces behind Strive Logistics. Strive is made up of people from a variety of backgrounds that share a common goal - to deliver our customer's business. Let’s meet some of the faces behind Strive’s Customer Operations team in the Austin office. The Customer Operations team works hard to ensure everything goes smoothly in getting our customer’s freight from point A to point B and beyond.
Monika is also a Senior Operations Representative on our Strategic Souring team. She started at Strive in 2014 and graduated from the University of Texas. Monika’s background is in Communication Studies. Outside of Strive, Monika enjoys being by or on the water, whether it is on a boat by the lake or on the beach with her toes in the sand.
What brought you to Strive?
Michelle actually referred me to Strive. She told me Strive was hiring and that they needed good people to start as soon as possible.
What kinds of qualities does someone need to have to be a Strive employee?
They need to have a positive attitude and a hunger to succeed. I think a good Strive employee also has strong leadership skills, good organizational skills, and is an outstanding communicator.
What’s your favorite thing about working for Strive?
The people. Hands down, the people and the culture at Strive is the best part. I’m excited to come to work every day knowing that I get to work with such great people in such a cultivating environment.
How do you make your customers’ lives easier?
I always try to be one step ahead of my customers. I get updates to them before they even ask, get request out as soon as possible and provide my customers with a friendly and positive experience even if the situation isn’t the best.
